the
little Villa
The little Villa is a japanese traditional house in the heart of Kyoto
(see the map), 10 minutes by
bike from Kyoto station and Nijo castle, 20 minutes by bike from Imperial
palace, Kamo gawa, Gojo, Shijo, 25 minutes by bike from Gion.
Vincent and Midori, who live in the second floor, offer for rent the
first level of the house, that is to say a
room of 4,5 tatamis (with air conditioned) and a
room of 2 tatamis, and a small
inner garden for common use where are toilets and bathroom. The
size of the space is about 20 m2 with the garden, which is used in
the evening as a dining room. The kitchen, at the first level, is
for common use also, except from 18h30 to 20h00, when it's booked
for Midori's cooking. Midori is not there in the daytime, and Vincent
usually is out also in the morning. Vincent is a smoker.
The rental is by day or by week. It is offered for single people.
Vincent is a writer, so we are looking for quiet people. We won't
be able to welcome java dancers or ultimate musicians (except if they
use a walkman).
The rates are the followings (for a single people):
20 000 yen (about 120 euros) per week without food.
5 000 yen (about 30 euros) per day without food.
For 2 000 yens more you will be able to enjoy the delicious Japanese
cooking of Midori (only at the dinner. The price is per meal, served
with sake. Please tell us one day before. If you stay more than 2
nights, it is possible to make an arrangement for the meals in the
evening. Please contact us.) Washing machine is available. Internet
